La US Air Force utiliza Intergraph para gestionar la documentación sobre sus propiedades inmobiliarias

NOTA DE PRENSA INTERGRAPH

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–Sept. 30, 2003–Intergraph Solutions Group announced today its selection to support the Headquarters, U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency (AFCESA) in updating real property records for all Air Force bases worldwide. Valued at $10 million, the five-year General Services Administration (GSA) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) enables Air Force installations to acquire information technology and knowledge management services needed to improve property management. Intergraph will provide consulting, installation management, database and computer-aided drafting (CAD) expertise.

Under the agreement, Intergraph will conduct comprehensive real property inventories, reconcile facilities against existing documentation and drawings, update or recreate floor plans, validate findings and update the Automated Civil Engineering System (ACES) records. Installations will use the information to improve installation management and document real property uses and values.

«Intergraph has more than 12 years of experience with Air Force base real property systems and requirements, and even longer experience with CAD. We look forward to lending this expertise to ongoing Air Force efforts to improve and automate installation management,» said Mike Brashear, vice president of Air Force Solutions at Intergraph.
