Ixiasoft, fabricante canadiense de bases de datos nativas XML, acaba de poner a la venta la versión 3.1 de su producto insignia, la BBDD TextML Server. En esta ocasión Ixiasoft ha hecho hincapié en la seguridad ante interrupciones del hardware, añadiendo un módulto de Seguridad denominado TextML Fault Tolerance Server (FTS) que garantiza la sincronización inmediata de los servidores continuamente permitiendo así acceder a los sistemas de Back Up si se cae el principal.
Ixiasoft no tiene oficinas en España, aunque pudiera tenerlas en breve. Sí que tiene sin embargo varios clientes sobre todo en el sector de los periódicos provinciales puesto que originalmente estaba centrada en este sector al poder servir como base para infraestructuras tecnológicas «Cross Publising» en el sector editorial.
