Fabricante de software utiliza Splunk para seguridad de sus servidores

“We help more than 51,000 customers collaborate and communicate around shared work,” said Craig Davies, Head of Security, Atlassian. “With that growth comes an increase in data that is increasingly dispersed. That combination made deploying Splunk a no-brainer. Splunk has proven it can scale and grow at the pace we need. It can also integrate with our software, which is not only interesting to us, but also creates potential opportunities for our customers in the future.”

Atlassian, a high-growth enterprise software company, agreed to an EAA with Splunk for security. After looking at the options and costs of trying to develop and manage an open source stack to solve its needs, Atlassian purchased Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES. Splunk’s solutions are being used across Atlassian’s globally dispersed security team to help ensure Atlassian’s systems are always available for customers and staff.

With more than 51,000 organizations and over 75 of the Fortune 100 as customers, security is paramount to Atlassian. By working with Splunk, the team is able to automate the identification of threats and react immediately, understand the source of attacks and crowdsource the alerts.

“For a company on a high-growth trajectory like Atlassian, it’s all about harnessing data to deliver the right insights – be they operational, security or more strategic – to the right people in real time,” says Simon Eid, Australia and New Zealand country manager, Splunk. “Splunk’s ability to work with data on-premises, in the cloud or in hybrid environments and to scale effortlessly is enabling Atlassian to focus on securely delivering the next innovations in team collaboration. It is also exciting how this might play out as the teams work on integrating Splunk solutions with some Atlassian offerings such as JIRA, Confluence and HipChat.”
