MicroStrategy, fabricante de software para Business Intelligence, ha anunciado que el ChoHung Bank, la entidad bancaria más antigua de Corea, ha seleccionado su plataforma de Business Intelligence para reporting y análisis corporativo. Gracias a la incorporación de este software más de 200 trabajadores de la entidad realizan el reporting y análisis de la gestión de créditos, gestión de riesgos y marketing. En el futuro, el ChoHung planea incorporar nuevas aplicaciones para mejorar el análisis de la gestión de riesgos y para evaluar la productividad de sus empleados.

MCLEAN, Va., May 18 — MicroStrategy Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, today announced that ChoHung Bank has selected the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform for enterprise-wide reporting and analysis. Founded in 1897, ChoHung Bank is the oldest bank in Korea, with over KRW5.4 trillion won in revenue reaching an estimated 10 million customers through approximately 560 domestic and international branch locations.
Approximately 200 employees perform reporting and analysis on customer credit management, risk management and marketing information against a 1- terabyte Sybase data warehouse. In addition, ChoHung Bank is able to better track its customers’ credit habits and activities, uncovering new revenue generating opportunities through targeted up-sell campaigns. ChoHung Bank plans to create future applications to enhance their risk management analysis and to report on employee productivity and performance.
