Demonstrate Integration Between Arbortext Epic Editor and Documentum’s XML Management Capabilities

PLEASANTON, Calif., May 6 / — Documentum (NASDAQ:DCTM) today announced that it will showcase its industry-leading ECM platform, Documentum 5, at the Arbortext Users’ Group International (AUGI) conference, May 7-9 in San Antonio, Texas. The Documentum 5 platform automates the management of all content types, including XML, web content and rich media.

At AUGI, Documentum will demonstrate the intelligent management technologies in Documentum 5 that span native XML management from creation through delivery and archival. Documentum 5 integrates with Arbortext Epic Editor to parse XML into reusable, managed elements and transforms the management of XML for multi-channel delivery output. Documentum will also demonstrate how its Media Services solution imports and renders any linked media into alternate renditions such as thumbnails and low-resolution. Una Kearns, Documentum’s XML architect, will participate on two panel sessions: «Content Management System Review for Developers» and «Content Management System Review for Managers,» both on Thursday, May 8.
