PLEASANTON, Calif., June 24 / — Documentum today announced that Petrofac International Ltd, the total facilities solutions provider for the oil and gas production, gas processing and refining industries, has deployed Documentum ECM platform to manage engineering content for managing and installing pipelines in the Middle East.
Petrofac has deployed the Documentum ECM platform in its offices in the United Arab Emirates, and Documentum has helped the company share best practices related to the management and the construction of pipelines. The Documentum platform is at the foundation of a new system, which will enable Petrofac to cost effectively accelerate the creation, management, delivery and archival of large amounts of content, such as engineering drawings, plant designs and CAD files.
