Documentum to Present and Demonstrate Integrated Solutions at BEA eWORLD
PLEASANTON, Calif., Feb. 27
— WHO:
Documentum will showcase its product integrations with BEA at BEA eWorld, the company’s annual worldwide user conference. The integrated solutions offered by the two companies bring together the robustness and extensibility of BEA’s WebLogic application infrastructure with the power of the Documentum ECM platform, to help organizations reduce costs, improve communications and increase productivity by delivering timely, accurate, relevant content through corporate portals and web sites.
WHAT:
Documentum will unveil its integrations with BEA WebLogic Portal by demonstrating MarketingNet and PartnerNet portals. These solutions, used internally at Documentum, were built using the Documentum ECM platform and the BEA WebLogic Portal.
The integrations on display will include:
— Documentum ECM Platform and BEA WebLogic Portal
— Documentum Content Management and eRoom Collaboration portlets and BEA
WebLogic Portal
Documentum will also deliver two presentations on its integrations with BEA WebLogic Platform:
— «Productivity and Satisfaction with Documentum and BEA WebLogic
Platform,» presented by Peter Tait, vice president for eBusiness
strategy, Documentum, and Shane Pearson, director of product
management, BEA Systems Inc., on Tuesday, March 4 from
9:45 am to 10:45 am. This talk will profile Documentum’s use of BEA
WebLogic Server and BEA WebLogic Portal across numerous business
initiatives to unify information delivery and provide personalized,
secure and timely access to content for its sales force, partners and
customers.
— «BEA WebLogic Workship Controls for ISV’s – A Documentum Case Study,»
presented by Kevin O’Connor, senior product manager, Documentum, and
Peter Hussey, director, workshop product management, BEA Systems Inc.,
on Tuesday, March 4 from 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm. Using Documentum as a
case study, the speakers will describe how the control architecture in
BEA WebLogic Workshop presents a unique new opportunity for ISVs to
reach a broader audience of application developers.
