CHICAGO–March 19, 2004–SPSS Inc., the leading provider of predictive analytics and tools for the survey and market research industry, will host a user conference at the Flamingo Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, October 24-27, 2004. The SPSS Directions 2004 User Conference will highlight best practices in analytical CRM, survey and market research, business intelligence and analytics in government.
Geared to researchers, statisticians, analysts, business managers and IT directors, SPSS Directions 2004 User Conference with practical tips on product use and processes, real-world case studies and hands-on product demonstrations.
«Predictive Analytics: The Enabler of Customer Equity,» will be the topic of an address by Robert C. Blattberg, co-author of «Customer Equity: Building and Managing Relationships as Valuable Assets,» and director for Retail Management at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Richard DeVeaux, Ph.D., Williams College, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, will present «Predictive Analytics: Making it Pay Off.»
In addition to the conference events, training courses taught by certified SPSS instructors will be offered as pre- and post- conference options. Attendees can choose a combination of several different methodology workshops or register for a full day of hands-on training. Among the training topics planned are text mining, data mining, query and reporting, market research and survey methodology.
SPSS is currently soliciting case studies and papers for the SPSS Directions 2004 User Conference. Topics and speakers will be selected based on originality and educational benefits.
