BroadVision’s Out-of-the-Box Solution Provides Colorado Caregivers with Centralized Access to Information and Industry-Leading Personalization and Collaboration Features
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 20 / — BroadVision, Inc. (NASDAQ:BVSN) , provider of enterprise portal applications, today announced that Exempla Healthcare, a leading Colorado healthcare provider, has launched a Clinicians Portal, the first of four multi-constituent BroadVision -powered portals designed to serve the company’s 2,000 clinicians, 5,000 employees, 46,800 patients and numerous business partners.
The new Clinicians Portal provides Exempla caregivers with secure web access to all patient care systems, including those in existing enterprise systems such as the Meditech database, SoftMed chart management system, and Quick Chart document reporting system. The site uses BroadVision’s industry-leading personalization to tailor content to the needs of individual clinicians and BroadVision collaboration features to provide microsites for e-committees and communities of interest. Other features include remote access; single sign-on to information systems and other sources accessible through the portal; access to key information reference sites; access to physician-related information such as physician directories and schedules; and access to Exempla policies and procedures.
