WANdisco (www.wandisco.com), provider of continuous-availability software for global enterprises to meet the challenges of Big Data, announced yesterday that after an extensive evaluation, British Gas, the UK’s largest utility and home services provider, has significantly scaled up its Non-Stop Hadoop for Hortonworks (NASDAQ:HDP) deployment for live customer-facing operations. The resulting new three-year subscription is WANdisco’s largest Big Data deal to date, with a value of $750,000.
