MicroStrategy, fabricante de software para Business Intelligence, ha anunciado que O2, fabricante líder alemán de telefonía móvil, ha implementado su herramienta BI para el reporting y análisis financiero del grupo. El software de MicroStrategy es utilizado por más de 400 empleados de los departamentos de ventas, finanzas, marketing y dirección y puede procesar hasta seis terabytes de datos.

MCLEAN, Va., May 24 — MicroStrategy Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, today announced that leading German mobile telecommunications provider O2 is using the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform for enterprise-wide reporting and analysis.
 
A customer since 1998, O2 has over 400 employees in sales, finance, marketing and management harnessing MicroStrategy to analyze and report on data collected from over 5.7 million customers. Via MicroStrategy’s user- friendly Web interface, O2 performs various applications, including network utilization and sales force performance. Over six terabytes of data are processed and analyzed.
